Hand-Carved Block Print Stamp 1 day Workshop. Traditional Indian Wood Carving Technique
Dive into the traditional art of Indian wood block carving. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of traditional stamp carving techniques and begin by designing your own small print block on paper.
Afterwards, you will transfer your design onto wood and carve your stamp by hand using traditional carving tools.
A creative and meditative workshop where you will create your own handmade printing block to take home.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of traditional Indian block printing.
An ancient textile printing technique where fabrics are hand printed using hand-carved wooden blocks.
Together we will mix the printing colours and introduce you to the basics of traditional textile printing.
You can choose your favourite designs from our collection of hand-carved wooden blocks and print your own fabric by hand. In our workshop, we use certified organic cotton and certified textile colours that meet the highest standards for ecological and sustainable textiles.

Indigo Mud Resist Block Print 1 Day Workshop Traditional Indigo Printing from Rajasthan
Discover the traditional “Mud Resist” indigo printing technique, famous from the Bagru region of Rajasthan.
In this centuries-old resist printing process, the fabric is first printed with a special clay paste using hand-carved wooden blocks.
You will choose your favourite design from our block collection and hand print your fabric. After drying, the fabric is dipped into an indigo vat.
Once the clay paste is washed away, the beautiful traditional blue and white patterns appear.
A unique workshop for anyone interested in learning traditional Indian dyeing and printing techniques.

Discover the beautiful art of Shibori,
a traditional folding and resist-dyeing technique that creates unique patterns on
fabric through folding, twisting, binding
and tying methods.
During this workshop, you will create your own scarf and experiment with different Shibori techniques, from delicate folding patterns to classic tie-dye effects.
Your fabric will then be dyed with natural indigo.
