It is here, surrounded by mountain air and nature, that we host our immersive 6-day Block Print Workshop Retreat at Maasa Retreat & Resort.

 

This retreat follows the same in-depth structure as our Delhi program, now offered in a serene Himalayan setting.

 

What will you do here?

Hands-On Block Printing Training

Master the art of textile block printing from start to finish, including block carving, pattern placement, layering techniques, and intricate fabric printing methods. Guided by experienced artisans.

 

Dabu Indigo Printing

Learn the traditional mud-resist technique using natural indigo in the Bagru style passed down through generations.

 

Materials Provided

• 1 meter of fabric per day to design and take home (Additional fabric available at extra cost.)

• Use of handcrafted wooden blocks

• Professional tools and environmentally friendly printing inks 

 

Custom Block Carving ( Optional )

We offer the possibility to create a 

custom-made wooden printing block based on your own design.

This service is available upon request and at an additional cost.
